- a substantially flat, elongated, extruded, polymeric window trim element having a front surface and an opposing back surface and at least one blade-formed, approximately V-shaped longitudinally extending groove on at least one such surface formed by a stationary blade after extrusion, wherein the shallowest depth of said at least one groove is about ⅓
the thickness of the trim strip, and wherein the polymeric window trim apparatus is structured to be reduced by tearing the window trim along at least one longitudinally extending groove without using a blade.
