1. A method for generating an edited video data stream from an original video stream wherein generation of said edited video stream comprises a step of:
- substituting at least one object in a plurality of objects in said original video stream by at least a different object.

- - 2. The method in claim 1 wherein the different object is user defined.
  - 3. The method of claim 1 wherein the different object is the face of a person.
  - 4. The method of claim 3 wherein the substituting step comprises substituting a face of a person.
  - 5. The method of claim 1 wherein the different object consists of a set of sequenced objects.
  - 6. The method of claim 1 wherein the process of substituting the object in the original video stream comprises steps of:
    - capturing the different object by means of an imaging device;
      
      processing said captured different object;
      
      transmitting said processed different object to said original video stream;
      
      providing information to said original video stream instructing on object replacement modes;
      
      replacing the original object in the original video stream with the processed different object according to the replacement modes provided by the user; and
      
      processing the original video stream with the newly replaced different object according to the motion parameters of said original video stream.
  - 7. The method of claim 6 where the transmission of the different object to the original video stream is performed wirelessly.
  - 8. The method of claim 6 where the transmission of the different object to the original video stream is performed via a network.

9. An interactive broadcast TV system that enhances the user experience by allowing said user the capability of providing his/her object data for use in the substitution of an object data in a broadcast video by said user object data.

- - 10. The system in claim 9 further comprising means for selecting existing object data in a video broadcast to be substituted with the user'"'"'s object data.
  - 11. The system of claim 9 further comprising means for user selection of video broadcast where the substitution is to take effect.
  - 12. The system of claim 9 further comprising an interactive TV system with an image capturing capability.
  - 13. The system of claim 9 further comprising:
    - means for receiving the user'"'"'s object data;
      
      means for processing the user'"'"' object data;
      
      means for transmitting said object data to a broadcast station; and
      
      means for substituting said object data into a video broadcast.
  - 14. The system of claim 9 wherein the means for providing object data comprises:
    - means for capturing object data form an imaging enabled handheld device; and
      
      means for transmitting said object data wirelessly to the interactive broadcast TV system.
  - 15. The system of claim 9 whereby the means for substituting an object data in a broadcast video by said user object data comprises means for:
    - transmitting said user object data to a broadcast station by means of a hyperlink address;
      
      processing said broadcast video in preparation for user indicated object substitution by user provided object datareplacing the original object in the original broadcast video stream with the processed user object data according to the replacement modes provided by the user.

16. A gaming system that enhances the user experience by generating an edited video game from an original video game in the gaming device wherein said edited video game comprises:
- means for substituting at least one object data in the original video game by at least another object data provided by a user.

- - 17. The system of claim 16 whereby the system is enabled with imaging captured means for capturing the user'"'"'s object data.

  - 19. The system of claim 16 comprising means for specifying at least one object data targeted for substitution in the original video game.
