1. A system to automatically provide differing levels of information according to a predetermined social hierarchy, the system comprising:
- a communication device comprising at least one sensor which detects sensor data comprising a detected sensor value characteristic of the environment of the communication device;
a memory which stores at least one social template, each social template corresponding to at least one stored social signature comprising at least one sensor reading, and the at least one social template being structured to conditionally provide, for each level of the predetermined social hierarchy, a corresponding differing amount of information to each member of the predetermined social hierarchy; and
at least one processor which receives the sensor data of the at least one sensor, creates a social signature, determines which of the stored social signatures of the stored social templates has a greatest correspondence with the created social signature through analysis of the received sensor value of the sensor data, and provides to at least one member of the predetermined social hierarchy only as much information as allowed based on the determined social template.

Abstract
A device to automatically provide differing information levels according to a predetermined social hierarchy includes a memory and a processor. The memory stores social templates corresponding to unique social signatures and being selectable to provide, for each level of the predetermined social hierarchy, a corresponding differing amount of information to each member of the predetermined social hierarchy and/or a social networking service. The processor receives sensor data from a sensor set which detects sensor data related to an environment of a communication device, creates a detected social signature from the received sensor data, determines which of the social signatures of the social templates has the greatest correspondence with the created social signature, retrieves from the memory the determined one social template having the greatest correspondence, and provides only as much information as allowed in the retrieved social template.

a communication device comprising at least one sensor which detects sensor data comprising a first detected sensor value comprising a first descriptive characteristic of the environment of the communication device and a second detected sensor value comprising a second descriptive characteristic of the environment of the communication device; a memory which stores at least one social template, each social template corresponding to at least one social signature comprising representative data derived from the first and second sensor values, and each social template being representative of at least one interpretation of events associated with the communication device and providing to each member of a predetermined social hierarchy an amount of information corresponding to a hierarchy level of the member; and at least one processor which receives the sensor data of the communication device, creates a social signature from the received sensor data, determines which of the social signatures of the stored social templates has a greatest correspondence with the created social signature through processing of the first and second detected sensor values, and provides to at least one member of the predetermined social hierarchy only as much information as allowed based on the social template that corresponds to the determined social signature. - View Dependent Claims (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32)
